LATHAM PARK
The park is located in a traditional, residential area of the Morningside section of Sioux City, Iowa. Occupying almost a full acre of ground, it is home to an endless variety of flowering plants, warbling songbirds, a wonderful fountain, quiet sitting areas, and one or two friendly squirrels. Sioux City Art Center
Founded in 1938 as a Works Progress Administration project, it was established to serve people of all ages and backgrounds. The Sioux City Art Center is one of only four WPA art centers in Iowa to survive to the present without interruption. 
 
Orpheum Theatre
Since the grand re-opening in 2001, the theatre has provided the Siouxland area an opportunity to attend performances by fabulous performers like Bill Cosby, Sheryl Crow, BB King, Bob Dylan, Wynton Marsalis, David Copperfield, Willie Nelson, Jewel, Alison Kraus, and Jerry Seinfeld. In addition, thousands have witnessed spectacular Broadway shows and enjoy hearing the Sioux City Symphony.

Morningside College
For over 112 years, Morningside College has provided students with the highest quality education possible.

Adams House & Preserve
Spanning 1,500 acres along the Missouri River, this area was donated to the people of South Dakota in 1984 by Mary and Maud Adams, granddaughters of original homesteader Stephen Searl Adams.
The staff at Adams Homestead and Nature Preserve host a number of nature programs throughout the year at several parks in the area, including Adams Homestead, Spirit Mound and Newton Hills. Click here to learn more about these upcoming programs.
